Powerful and eco-friendly
The engines of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta are designed to supply top-level performance, technology and eco-friendliness.
The range features three brilliant turbo petrol engines: a 1.4 TB 120 bhp, a 1.4 TB MultiAir 170 bhp (this is a combined electro-hydraulic engine intake valve control system capable of simultaneously supplying more power, cutting consumption by 10% with respect to traditional engines and reducing CO2 emissions) and a 1750 TBi 235 bhp, equipped with the exclusive Cloverleaf trim.
Three diesel engines are available: 1.6 JTDM-2 105 bhp, 2.0 JTDM-2 140 bhp and 2.0 JTDM-2 170 bhp, all three being second-generation JTDM.
All engine versions are Euro 5 compliant and equipped with the Start&Stop system as standard, which stops and automatically restarts the engine when standing in traffic (except for the 1750 TBi).
